Easter is on Sunday so it’ll be back to sweets for me! Therefore I just ordered cookies from thebuffbaker!! OOOOOh I can’t WAIT.
Also, Mark and I are going to look at houses tomorrow. SNAP. So excited/nervous/anxious!
Everything last night was delicious and Mama felt special, so her birthday dinner was a big success. I wish I could post photos of her because y’all would go crazy about how pretty and cute she is (she’s definitely in the running for World’s Cutest Mama) but alas, she wants to remain internet mysterious so you’ll just have to take my word for it. Food is love, and it’s truly a joy for me to feed those I love.
Bucket list item: Have ayabug fix me dinner. YUM.
Ukrainian photographer Vyacheslav Mishchenko documents tiny creatures in nature who often go unseen. In particular, he captures portraits of snails that are both magical and adorable. The photographer gets in close to snap macro shots of precious, surreal moments. I never thought I’d find the slimy mollusk so cute!
Snails!! Made me think of boyswanna-be-her!
I really don’t know what to do with my diet these days. I want to properly fuel my workouts, but not be reckless with my intake. (Something I struggle with.) I also want to play around with my diet to see if I can make my muscles really pop (I know they’re under there! I think I eat too many carbs), but what does that mean? Should I try to cut carbs? Try carb cycling? Try to bulk for a bit and then cut?
Here’s the real kicker: Mark and I will be travelling in Europe from May 22-June 2. Probably won’t have access to a gym the entire time, but I might plan on running. This time will also (most likely) completely ruin whatever diet I’m following.
Help. I think I just need to pick something and stick with it pre/post trip.
So on Saturday I did legs at the apartment gym, which meant actually getting to use a barbell (as opposed to the dumbbells at the work gym). I wanted to see how much I could squat and got up to 3 reps of 125 lbs before I chickened out.
But still, 125!! Not bad for a newb.
